I remember reading somewhere that the ETH used smaller injectors than the ETC. If thats true would it be even worth switching the injectors out?? Just curious. Thanks for any input.

Hey, that's my valve cover !!! C'mon Mr. Fritz, fess up ;) . Man, I wish I cleaned the engine compartment up more  .

I believe you are correct, Clark, though I doubt there would be much to gain when a set of 275's are going pretty cheap these days.

OK Bigsaint, you caught me! :p

Just for you, I added alternate text so that the cursor shows "Bigsaint's valve cover" when the mouse is on the image. Now the whole world will know whose dirty engine that is! :D

Hmm, as Bigsaint slaps Dave F. in the face with a pair of leather gloves, " of course, you know this means war !!!".

Just kidding Dave, shoulda kept my mouth shut, you got me good fair and square ;) .

When tested the injectors for the ETH (3946306) will flow 600cc at 100bars for 30 seconds and the ETC (3944828) will flow 640cc at the same test.

That was interesting tgbol. Does anyone know how much the 275's flow for comparison?

I'm sorry Scott. You left the door wide open and I (snicker) just couldn't resist. :) Actually, I had archived that valve cover photo and could not remember where I got it. I try to give credit where it is due.

Dave

It just so happened that yesterday I got a Cummins Parts book for the "2001 Chrysler Truck Engine" and it had the specs on the injectors listed. I also got the "ISB Engine" parts book. It lists about 10 different injector numbers but no specs as to flow. Thursday I am going to Cummins School to be trained on the Insite system so I am going to try and get more info.

You have got to tell us all the things this program can do to our trucks! I know we get the striped out version of the ECM but still.
