What filtration system does Cummins use on the CRD ISB in Europe? Are they european versions experiencing the same problems such as pump and injector problems?

Unknown, but European diesel fuel is of superior quality (better lubricity, lower particulates). That alone should improve fuel system reliability.

I believe the lower levels of lubricity in US fuels, but not the particulates. If you look at the 2002 Bosch presentation to the California ARB, all the US fuels tested had particulate levels well below the EN590 standards.
