2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Evaporator Coil

After almost a year of nursing a small leak in my evaportor coil the thing finally let loose last week. What a mess!:{ I got the coil from the dealership:--) and the price was 50 bucks higher than last year. You would think that with the high volume of replacement parts that they would come down in price.



I'm changing it my self to save bucks for bombing, wish me luck! Any suggestions on extending the life of the new one? (ie replacing the opencell foam with silicon)

When you get the heater box apart, could you please post a photo of any leaf contamination that might exist? I beleive that rotting leaves accellerate the coil failure. Keep us posted.
