I thought this was kind of interesting so I would share it. . .

on the way to work this morning my truck started missing and smelling like raw fuel. When I got to work and opened the hood I found "old faithful" like geyser on the #3 injection line!!!! It's at the "*******" getting waranteed right now. What a mess!!

p. s. check out that wall thickness!!

I've heard of people breaking lines... or have slow leaks (SEAN!), but a clean break is sorta rare... especially seeing as you still have all of the retainers intact.

It looks to me like one of those dang chipmuncks that are under the hood of a powerstoke or a duramax got sick of their owners yelling why are those cummins so much faster everytime they get beat and want to trade them in on a real engine.

Funny you would say something about yanking it for an injector change. . . it was just at the dealer about 3 weeks before or so for an injection pump, and a few injectors were changed at the same time. . . Bet it's a lot faster just to bend the lines then to take the clamps off. . . hmmmm. . .

Thats crazy! Man, with that wall thickness you would think that thing would never do that. I am scared that is gonna happen to my lines ever since I installed that Banks Twin ram intake. The application puts the grid heaters in each intake port and I had to slightly bend one of my lines so it doesn't ride on the nut holding the heater in there. Kind of hard to explain but maybe someone with the same intake knows what I am talking about. I think I am going to order a set of lines for spares incase what happened above happens to me. :D
