EVIC has gone blank/black

The EVIC screen on my truck has gone black, everything still works on the truck except for remote start, I had just started up truck the screen was up and shortly after start up it went black/blank. Is there a fuse or rely I can check? Or am having to bite the bullet and toss yet more money at this thing?

Disconnect both!! batterys and then put together both wires (plus/minus) to discharge every capacitor.
That reboots your whole electronics.

Try this first.

Well did it work? I’m curious because mine is acting up also. Is there anything that has to be reset after doing this hard reboot?

Usually not.

There is also a way to really reset the head unit itself but then it's really back to factory - blank.

If the bat disco don't help, that's the next step.
