Attention: TDR Forum Junkies 
My 2013 Tradesman is having a problem with the EVIC occasionally locking up or freezing. It will allow me to scroll through the various choices but will not allow me to choose them with the > button. Usually shutting down the truck and restarting will clear the problem. Other times a number of rapid pushes of the > button will unlock it but also resets the fuel mileage.
I was able to show this to the dealer a while back but since I was having a problem with a NOX sensor we decided to wait to see if curing that problem would also fix the EVIC. It didn’t.
I have a dealer appointment in a few days and am also close to the end of my 3year 36 K warranty (based on time). Hopefully having the complaint in the system will give me some protection as the warranty runs out. As it stands the problem is tolerable if it gets no worse.
I am wondering if anyone else has encountered this and can give me any info that might help the service tech. I feel like it may be running windows 8.1 or something.
