2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission EVSII Keyless Entry Compatibility

Saw a EVSII Keyless entry system on e-bay for a reasonable amount, but not sure it will work on my truck. I have a 2001 3500 with the SLT package. It has power windors (southern for windows) and locks, overhead console , but does not have the factory keyless entry and was not equipped as such from the factory.



This is a Mopar Chrysler EVS II Keyless Entry Module Kit, part # 82300986. The number on the module is 04883257. It includes the remotes as well.



First, will this work on my truck?



Second, where can I get a manual to install?



Third, are there any special connectors I will need to get in order for it to work on my truck?



Thanx much for the help! I would really love to have keyless entry, would make my wife happy too! What more can a guy ask for.

I have it on my 2000, and it works fine but I don't know how it hooks into the truck wiring, can't be that hard. Ask a dodge dealer or run a search to try to find an install diagram.

I have one of these on my truck 2000 SLT. You have to get the wire harness too. Comes with everthing to hook it up to factory wiring with good instruction manual. Dodge part number is

82204681. I think the price was a little over $100. 00 from dealer.
