Exactly 1 year and 22,010 Miles later....

and I still LOVE this truck!!! My mileage has been steadily improving over the past 5 or 6 thousand miles from 15 MPG its now getting 17. 5 MPG. The 6 shooter has really loosened up since new.



The only item I am disappointed about is the fact that the high idle feature is not available with the 6 shooter. (it would have came in handy last winter when it was -20 F when I was up in Canada... . however the truck fired right up after cycling the heater grids twice... . I think it would have went on one but I did two just to make sure)

FWIW, at -25F in N. MN I never had to cycle mine twice - it always fired on the first try.

Apersondek,

Do you have power pedals? I carry a motivational club/tire thumper (1 1/4 dowel rod apx 24 inches long w/ grooves for a stronger grip. ) in combination with my power pedals and my power seat and can get any idle speed i want. It will work w/o the pedals but it is more convenient w/them.

Don't need it for the cold in so cal but comes in handy for jump starts etc.....
