I have a II fat shaft 62 with 14sqcm housing. I would like to install a pac brake, but I am concerned about clearance from fire wall. Anyone have problems with this? If so is there any down side to installing the pac brake down stream from the elbow? Thanks for any info.

Mount it downstream. The remote mount would be the easiest. I think the PS6214 moves te exhasut elbo back about 1. 5" from the original position and it may be enough to mess you up.

I just mounted mine and it has plenty of room I wouldn't worry about it. You will notice I shaved the corner off of the ram mount of the pacbrake but I don't know that everyone would have to do that. I just didn't want to have to adjust my exhaust.

Well I tried to load the picture of it but my file size is to large and I don't know how to make it smaller.

Pac Brake works fine as Money Maker said you will have to take about an 1/8th inch off the cylinder mounting bracket, no big deal.

the only downside I know of is the chance of a leak in the exhaust between the turbo and the pacbrake because of the higher pressure

I didn't have any leaks in the 3k miles I put on the sps66

I've looked at my dads Jacobs on his 2006. There is plenty of clearance. It just has a vacuum cylinder that operates the butterfly in the cast elbow. He likes his really well.

For reference, I've had mine on for about 4K as well and no leaks yet. That was one of my fears at first but hasn't happened yet. Not even recently when the high idle has been on with the brake on for warmup.

The vacuum pod on my jake interfered with the firewall when I put my II sps66 on. Everytime the engine started or shut down, you could hear the vacuum pod smacking the firewall. I ended up taking the dash apart to esure that their was adequate clearance, and then dented the firewall a little to allow for clearance. All is well now! I also have the magnaflow 5" exhaust too... not sure if that matters or not.
