Exaust Brake For Automatic Transmissions?

I need some un-biased information on exhaust brakes for auto transmissions, I just bought a new 2002 Dodge diesel 4x4 with the automatic transmission.



1. Is any warranty voided by installing the brake?

2. Is it necessary to install the transmission controller in addition to the exhaust brake?



3. What would be the minimum weight 5th wheel that would benefit from having one installed?
