Put my box on level 3 today, 100 horse, and rolled into it hard leaving a parking lot, it pegged the EGT guage on 1500* :--) Is this normal? How long can I hold it there? What temps are other guys seeing with these mods???

P. S. I have a stock charger and intercooler which I realize these arent helping me but thats what I got. Also I have 50 horse injectors too.

i used to see 1500 daily until my clutch gave out but only for a second or two. i dont recommend it at all. i would fell safe with 1400.

I held my Autometer gauge at 1400* for 30sec+ a couple times. Engine runs better now. "Cured" an intermittent miss.

I swapped probe positions and now have the Attitude probe in place of the autometer and visa versa. Attitude gauge has a hard time topping 1250* on the same run, same power level.

I think the "real" temp is somewhere inbetween the two guages.

Yes and I see from your sig. that you have more mods than I do. Do you still have the stock turbo? As stated above, Ive been lusting after the SPS-62 but dont have the bones right now. Ive spent over 6 grand on my truck this year and need to back off untill next year. I'd be curious to know how many guys run theirs at 1500* and for how long. It just simply amazes me that as small of box as I have and I have these high egt #'s. Because of all these guys runnin' Smartys-Tripple Dogs-PMCR's and the like. I bet a bunch dont have an EGT gauge or dont watch it anyway. Well I guess next year its a charger and an intercooler

Mines not missing when rolling, but knocks here and there and starts to miss at idle once warm every now and again. I wonder if I need to do that + a few canes of seafoam in an 1/8 a tank...
