I towed a 29' 5th wheel for 11 years with a 2001.5 2500 4x4 with weights a little more than yours. Two loops through Western States, local trips in Washington and 8 round trips from NW Wa to Az. Never saw an issue like you are seeing. If you lost both outer sides of the tires and not the center that is an under inflation issue. That is why I asked if you tire pressure gauge was faulty.

I've had couple guages on the tires and they are all with 1 to at most 2 psi of each other so not the guage. Bit thanks for the suggestion.

MC, I, too, am one who USED to think Michelin could do no wrong. My wife's 2011 SRX Cadillac had 2 set of Michelins "fluff" off. New Parellis are doing fine. That said, another thing that crosses my mind is wondering if the tire problem is the "reaction" rather than the cause. Example---I hurt my right knee and couldn't straighten it all the way for over a year. It nearly kilt my left hip. Are lateral forces (from where?) being fed to the "unsupported" edge of the tire? Does your truck go down the road like it once did (empty or loaded) or do you have to "drive" it? Where do you live? Deteriorated spring or sway bar bushing or bushings (truck and RV)? Shocks? When you change lanes quickly on a jointed concrete road, do you feel like you have a "hinge in the middle"? Any wear in your hitch? Can you weigh each wheel? Any fender benders? Has your truck and/or trailer had a tough "flex"? I have a saying when I can't find something--"look where it ain't". Don't take anything for granted! Mark
