Archived Exhaust amnifold gaskets

Any one know why my exhaust manifold would have 4 gaskets per cyl????? They are just stacked on top of each other.

Is this important??

I have 12 gaskets for these trucks in stock, but why would there be so many?

Are you sure it isn't just a multilayer gasket that has come apart?

What Bob said. If not, there should only be one per cylinder.

I figured one per myself. No, they aren't multi piece. I am going to install one each. I honed each flange flat, so aside from any spacing issues, it should be as good or better than stock. Thanks guys!
