The clown who installed my new vaccum and ps pump screwed all kinds of things up. Amoung other problems I need to immediately remedy the following.

1) Exhaust brake won't work

2) A/C fan only works on defrost... most of the time. When I start up in the morning, the system will work fine, that is, the a/c dash vent will work normally. But if I turn off the AC or switch venting, the airflow will immediately go to defrost only where it will remain for the rest fo the day of driving.

Any ideas how to remedy?

Exhaust brake

Sounds like he plumbed into the vac lines for the... . ! I took the hose off of the pump it's self, had a hydraulic shop silver solder What ever it was to fit onto the end of the tee fitting to go onto the pump. That is the only parts that are still working on mine #@$%! This electrical/ vacuum switch replacement only worked for about 6 months!!!

Can you clarify what you're trying to say? I'm confused. All lines are hooked up, albeit perhaps not correctly. I dunno.
