Exhaust brake switch location for a '98 w/automatic trans

I started the intall of my PacBrake today and it was pretty easy. All I need to do is drill hole for on/off switch in the dash and wire it all up.

My knee bolster came out easy but I am having a hard time figuring out the template that was supplied. Do I drill though just the knee bolster or do I drill the dash panel that is exposed once the knee bolster is removed? The template has a screw hole location at the top and I cannot locate that on my dash.

It seems like a good place for the switch but wonder if anyone has come up with a better spot for it?

Maybe on the shift arm ?

Thanks, RogerLed

Switch location ? Had the same problem , quit smoking long time back don't need the ash tray and ram is a no smoking zone , so I used the ash tray cut the plastic inside drilled through front mounted switch inface of tray cut hole for wires in back put ground to frame next to tray and have in line fuse next to ground location just under dash frame. Eash to reach and can see light on end of switch (pac-brake) . hope this helps . LOL Ron in Louisville KY:confused:  :p :D
