I recently bought a 2007 3500 automatic. It came with a Jacobs brake that has the switch attached to the shift lever. The switch is a push pull type. Anyone know if that switch can be changed to a different type of switch. In my old truck I had a BD Brake and the switch was on the 6spd Shift column. It was a rocker switch that I could easily operate with my thumb. Would like to get something like that or even a toggle switch if I had to, like my Pack brake had on my 98. I want the switch off the shift lever, it is too big to be there in my opinion. Any ideas what I could do.

When the '07s came out with a dash mounted Jake switch, I wanted to get rid of my stalk switch on the shifter lever and put it in the dash. I bought a new bezal to replace the one in my truck with the seat heater switches, and an '07 brake switch. After a lot of hassle and improvising, I gave up and mounted a rocker switch between the seat heater switches in my old bezal. If the bezal and '07 switch will work for you, I'll make you a deal on it. If it won't, I can possibly help you rig up a setup like mine, shown in the attachment. The '07 bezal and switches look much like the picture except the switch is a momentary contact one.
