Exhaust brake toggle switch

I'm looking at installing an exhaust brake and would like to use something besides the toggle switch. I really don't want to drill a hole in the dash if I don't have to. I'd like to use the style that some have placed on their manual shift lever, but don't know if it will work on the gear lever for my auto. It looks like it might be more user friendly for on/off operation.

Has anyone tried this set-up?

Just has mine installed . we did mount it on the right side of steering wheel ,he removed the dash cover under the wheel and mounted it thier, it looks good. and is out of the way. Oo.

Would work if you could get the mounting block (like the manuals) for the switch machined for the diameter of the auto gear shift lever. But you would still have to modify your transmission for the E/B to be effective and not damage the transmission.
