Good Enclosed Trailer

Well I thank all for the response on GOING TO ALASKA 2005 thread but I forgot one question (one of many).

Would I need an exhaust brake for the trip? :-{} I had one on my 90 5spd but don't have one on my 96. Have the torque converter lock up sw and a BD 2nd gear lock up valve body so I know about the fluid shear problems.

Will try and get my e-mail as I can as I'm leaving Ft. Lewis WA Sunday or monday and will stop in Blaine before crossing at Sumas into Albertsford.

Exhaust Brake

I'm running a pacbrake with DTT smartcontroller and transmission. This setup works great and has enhanced my panic braking on the freeway as well as down long hills. The IAT sensor was black on mine last time but that would not be a concern of yours. With Calif. emissions my year sets off the CEL light. :{ The fix for this is electrical tape over the light and try and pretend its not on. I scan for codes periodically but no new ones show up.

This is the one mode from banks that I have really enjoyed except for the fact that their trans commander only locks the transmission in 3rd and OD. If I could lockup in 2nd it would be better. This to me is a must have and makes going down the long grades much more relaxing.

I have the same problem. Thought about taking the bulb out, but I just put a DTT sticker over the light. :D
