Is any one out there using the D-celerater exhaust brake? If so how well does it work? My truck is a 95 5 speed all stock I do not want to change my ehaust valve springs. I use it to pull a 9000lb 5th wheel. How well does the westach combo gauges work as I have the hole in the dash.

I have the Westach combo EGT/boost gauge in the hole. It works fine. My e-brake is a PacBrake for 35 lb valve springs. It works just fine. The 60 lb model is better, but this one does the job. I can go from Eureka, CA to Redding, CA pulling my 7500 lb travel trailer without using the service brakes except for traffic. There is some very steep crooked places on that road. One of these days when I get aroundtoit I will replace my valve springs and upgrade the PacBrake.

Welcome to the boards, you might try doing a search for exhaust brakes. Maybe more specifically the D-Celerator. You'll most likely find days worth of reading on past e-brake threads. Oh, the search button is on the right side of the screen towards the top. Hope this helps.
