Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Exhaust Brake

Well, my first post. So many of you seem to have such knowledge/ "opinions".



I have recently ordered a Banks brake for my 2001 47RE and from reading some of the posts, it sounds like this might be a mistake. It won't be long for the transmission upgrade after that, but for now, the brake and 5" exhaust system are scheduled.



Is anyone out there very satisfied with the Banks brake? I can only recall one post that claimed satisfaction.

I can't help you on the Banks Brake as I have the PacBrake in mine, but from what I've read on these posts all the brakes seem to work alike and each that has one really likes them. They are a absolute must for towing and should be standard equipment on thie truck.

I have a 6 Speed but my Banks Exhaust Brake is awesome!
