I tow an 11K (max) toy box trailer and am shopping for an e brake.

My local diesel wrench is recomending a BD since I have an automatic. He also carries Pac Brakes, but prefers the BD for my application. In addition to the brake he's talking about a BD AutoLoc or TorqLoc to controll the TC and maybe a PressureLoc as well.

I have an EZ in addition to my sig and some day would like to upgrade to a DTT setup to open up my bombing options.

My question is, if I start with these BD products, will I need to switch to DTT stuff once I do their transmission? If so what should I do now to run an ebrake with with my current transmission.

Thanks for any help.

Add ons vs DTT VB

Hi KKaiser, the BD add on controllers will not be needed or wanted once you go with the DTT trans.

Unless you are not going with the DTT setup for years, I would save my money and just go right with the DTT VB/TC. It can be set up for E-brake and does all that the add-ons do plus.

Call Bill K www.dieseltrans.com and get the scoop from him. I had my VB setup for E-brake when I ordered it, and love it.

Add-ons seem like band-aids to me. Designing the VB to do what you want it to do makes more sense. IMO

Hope this helps. Greg L. The Noise Nazi
