Exhaust change

Does anyone know if I cut the Cat and muffler off of my 5. 9 2007, am I going to throw codes? I looked at it the other day and I dont see any wires for sensors, but I was just wondering if anyone knew for sure.

My truck is registered in VA cause i am in the military, and my plan is to just cut the cat and muffler off, weld flanges on each end, and then put flanges on both ends of a straight and put that in. And then if i go home and have to get it tested, i can just stick the cat and muffler back in. I also think i am going to get it registered in WY so i dont have to worry about emissions.
