Well, I'm finally tired of it! I put my pyro after the turbo because I was short on time and figured that the "conversion" to standard pre-turbo standard temps wouldn't be that bad. Well, over the last year and a-half, adding 200-250 degrees or 10 degrees for each lb of boost (24 psi at this time) that kind of stuff. I know, these conversions aren't perfect as there is a certain amount of error for each way of doing it. I'm done with it... ..... I'll do what I should have in the begining... ...
Here's my question. What is the material of the exhaust down tube? I will have to remove my pyro and weld the hole in the down tube to move it to the pre-turbo location. I'm guessing that it is stainless but I wanted to verify that with somebody.
Has anybody else done this change-out before??
I'm taking suggestions/ideas also... ..... bring em' on- maybe there are ideas that would eliviate welding (although welding gives me the most secure feeling).
Thanks and blessed Thanksgiving to all, Rich
