I am curious what your guys opinion on a good EGT for the Cummins is. I have an 07 5. 9L stock but have a Superchips Flashpaq I would like to install. Also curious what your opinion is on how long I should wait to intsall this chip I currently only Have about 9000 miles on the truck.

I like DiPricol gauges but Isspro and autometer also have nice products.



As for your superchips... . I'd have put it on before I drove away from the dealer.

I have a combo Westech for boost and EGT from Geno's Garage. I really like it, but it is hard to read at night until you get use to it. but once I got use to how the boost and EGTs react I dont have to focus as much on the actual numbers by the position of both needels. if the boost is low and temps are high I need to down shift, if the the boost is high and temps are high I need to back off the throttle.

Shortly after I got my 05, I had a Isspro boost and EGT installed on the pillar.

I like them.

So much so, that Im in the process of adding a transmission temp and fuel pressure.
