on my 91.5 it has the last couple of months starting slightly oozing what I believe to be an oily residue out of the exhaust tip as in the pictures. Even the soot inside the pipe when rubbed with your finger isn't dry but damp. I tried to get it to show up in the pictures but it didn't come out real clear. Is this signs of turbo seals going? The truck currently has around 350k miles

Just a thought but could it be unburned fuel. Has it been idling more in cold weather that it could be passing a little raw fuel?

I don't really let it idle but I have considered the possibility of it being fuel from a tired pump and injectors.

Could be anything that would allow oil into the combustion side or perhaps something else. Easy enough to pop the output from the compressor and the exhaust off to look but only the compressor discharge will be conclusive because any oil in the exhaust could be rings, guides, the turbo or any of a few other things.

Is she smoking more and what color is that if so?
