Methanol Injection

What 6.7 intake horn to use?

If your engine is factory stock you have no reason to be concerned. If your engine is modified you should be more worried about melting a piston than damaging the turbocharger.

The previous ISB5. 9 in the HO version from 2004. 5 through 2007 was designed to run indefinitely at 1425-1450* egt. I have not seen figures in writing but believe it is safe to assume the ISB6. 7 is also safe at those temps. That's egt measured preturbo in the exhaust manifold.

the truck is an 03 with edge attitude. 4in banks exhaust, and k&n air. so at what temp would any damage accure

I can only suggest you don't allow egt to run higher than 1300* for any extended length of time. Climbing a long grade at 1300* is acceptable.

I ran my '01 HO/six spd at 1300* to 1325* a thousand times while pulling long hard grades loaded with a trailer. The truck has 350k miles on the odometer and never suffered any casualties as a result.

Some will say aluminum pistons will melt at 1300* but a piston heats and cools very rapidly with each power stroke. EGT measured at the exhaust manifold can be sustained 1300* and each piston only feels that heat momentarily.
