Exhaust in cab.

I received the info on how to fix the holes in the fire wall so that the horrible smell of exhaust does not fill up the cab. I was woundering how many have accomplished this, how hard it was, and how long did this take? I was planning on using duct tape and linning the bottom so that it can work as a one way valve. Any help or answers would be appreciated.

Smell in cab

I had the diesel smell in my cab also. I now have 11,000 miles on my truck and the smell is gone. The only time I still have the smell now is right after my oil change,and that is for about 100 miles or so. I read on another site to use mobil delvac 1300 and it seems to reduce the smell. I don,t know if that is true or not. I use chevron delo 400 with a fleetguard filter. Hope this helps. coobie
