Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) exhaust manifold retaining straps

Checked my oil last week and noticed a retaining strap broke. Took it to cummins and they said it is a aftermarket item from Dodge so i took it were i bought it. I was praying the whole way they would`et void my warrenty because of my Banks system. They ordered my new retaining strap and said they will call me when its in , hallalula ! Said nothing about my sytstem,great dealer in the DC area Herb Gordon Dodge in Silver Spring.

Isn't there a TSB for this? Anyone know how much it costs? I would prefer to buy the darn thing than have the bozos at DC install them. Also, I'm sure I'll have to get into a heated discusssion for them to give it to me as a TSB. Not worth the hassle dealing with these bozos.

TSB 09-002-01 has retention strap part numbers.

Excellent price from Mopar4less.com; by the way the part number has changed because they used to stock it as a set of 4 for the TSB, but now are listed as an individual item.

hopefully that was for at least 4 straps, or i would reconsider

still under warrenty, don`t care if they cost 800. 95 do not have to pay
