Exhaust manifold split

While checking the batteries on the truck I noticed a line on the exaust manifold (the front runner where they go to the turbo). After closer inspection I found it was a crack , pretty straight and about 3" long. I have a pyrometer but the probe is in the elbow after the turbo. Does any one know if the manifold is covered in the warranty, either the 100,000 by Cummins or extended warranty, I have the 7 yr. 100,000 that I bought when I bought the truck, it is the best one they had. I have 73,000 miles on the truck. bg

If you want a perm fix, get the ATS manifold It is a 3-piece design that is able to take the heat and stress of the engine.

it is out of utah and some other vendors have it as well. I did it myself in my driveway. Runs over 4 bills (barely)

anyway, this is the same design that is on the n-14 cummins on the OTR trucks.
