exhaust manifold temps. is this normal?

due to a ticking noise under load/boost, i bought a infared digital thermoter with the lazer pointer. with an outside temp of 28* and the truck at idle, water temp at 170*. temps taken from about 15 inches away from same spot on each cylinder on the manifold. temps are as follows from rear of motor twords front:182*, 198*,187*, 180*, 175*, 177*. is it normal to see such a diffrance in temps per cylinder? temps were taken right where the exhaust manifold attaches to the head... ... . james
 
I have two EGT's. One is stuck in the #5 and #6 common tube the other only reads the #1 tube. I can see easily 200 F lower temperature on the #1 that the #5/6 at WOT. The temperatures will settle at and be roughly equal just after coming to idle.
