I was wondering if anyone has had issues with the dealers after modifying your exhaust? I was thinking of installing a piece of flex pipe in place of the muffler. No,not the cheap stuff at the local parts store some we have for heavy trucks. Any ideas on the subject!

Should only void warranty on exhaust not anything else. Had my ocal dealer put my Banks kit on. No comments or anything. They thought it was a nice system.

It all depends on the dealer you are dealing with. I have had warranty work denied on a bone stock truck for not having an "approved" oil filter and I have had warranty service done on a heavily modified truck. Talk to the service manager or anyone you know that has dealt with that service department. Maybe someone here lives in your area and can tell which dealers are modification friendly.

I know this is purely anecdotal, and subject to change at any dealer, but.....

I have taken my truck in twice for warranty work on the A/C and other small inconveniences (like the rotating shift pattern on the 6-speed) and not had the first comment on warrranty and my aeroturbine exhaust. The service manager just tells me how good it sounds and asks the tech to rev it up when he drives by the desk. Hope it helps...

same responce here! The dealer were I bought the truck kinda gave a good price to install the Bnks system and used their dumpster for the old one. I kept old downpipe from the Turbo. Rest I had them toss in the dumpster.
