Exhaust Noise?!?

Have a 2006 Mega cab, 6 speed, with the Jacobs exhaust brake. Recently, I put a 5 inch exhaust on (turbo back minus kitty). Now, when I activate the Jake brake during downshifts I get a loud whistle sound in the cab? Does anyone have any experience with this? Is it normal, or is it a leak? Any help would be appreciated. Check the band clamp between the brake housing and the downpipe, sounds like they didn't line up correctly.
