Hey fellas, I was wondering how hard it would be to run an exhaust out of the hood. I've seen a couple of Dodges on sled pull videos that have it. I think it would pretty sweet to have a short stack out of the hood with a rain cap on top!!! I would have to take the turbo elbow off and get a 4" pipe bent at 180 degrees and then a 90 to go out the hood. What do you guys think?

Many years ago I saw a Ford with this application. It was a one ton and he may have had a Detroit in it. This was on I70 going thru Colo. I could barely catch him with a new 79 ford 4X4. Looked neat but a lot of smoke coming out!! He had about 18 to 24 inches of stack thru the hood with a flapper cap. I would be concerned about smoke coming in to the cab thru the cowl intake at low speeds around town.
