Exhaust pipe

does any ones exhaust vibrate? my hole exhaust vibrates form just down from the turbo all the way back to the tip. It rattles but there is no contact anywhere. I can see it vibrating. any help thanks

Have you checked all the flanges to make sure they're tight? Is the engine itself also vibrating badly?

yea all my clamps are tight. its hard to tell if the engine is a little or if that just the way the diesel motor is

For reference, my engine doesn't move even a little bit at idle.

Do you have any stock heat shields left? When they rust they rattle like nobody's business.

Call Banks,it's their product. They should be able to give you a hand figuring it out,I have seen a few banks mufflers have the baffles break loose and set up a heck of a rattle

I put a 4" stainless steel flex coupler inline between the down pipe and the muffler when I did my Silverline 304 Turbo back system.
