Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) exhaust question

Had to remove muffler the other day,gave out . Now I am wondering , the truck does not seem to kick in as much when I have to pick up speed.

Not enough back pressure? At the moment I have the #11 plate , With a free flow {open K/N filter cone type}. Now should I install a 4" inch exhaust setup or stay with the 3" inch without a muffler, it isn't too loud! Soon I would like to upgrade to 14 cm housing to go with the exhaust! Any other suggestions?



How do I set up a signature? and does high humidity cause the truck to respond less?

to setup signature go to discussion forums at top of screen then in there go to user control panel in there is where you set up everything

Hi,

I'd recommend going with a 4" MBRP given the other stuff you want to do... I dont know about humidity, I have seen when its super hot (out) and my truck is hot, my truck seems to not be making as much power as it might at something like 65-70F
