Attention: TDR Forum Junkies A friend has a '08 6. 7 and, at idle, the exhaust has no odor whatsoever. Smelled like air coming out of a compressed air hose. My '08 has a distinct exhaust odor and my mileage is poor. The dealer just did the newest flash on the computer and stated that my EGR was clean. Still the exhaust odor is there.
Do you think there is a relation between exhaust smell and condition of the EGR/turbo?
The jury is still out for me on the 6. 7. '98 12-valve was great, 2005 325 ISB is great, and the 6. 7? Well, I did check into the Nevada lemon law.
