Exhaust smell in cab

Occasionally when at a stop light I get an exhaust smell in the cab, I can tell it's coming through the vents, does this happen to anyone else

I suspect that is when regen is happening. I have noticed it once or twice when stopped. I have never had a regeneration notice on the evic

Normal during regen and the wind is blowing slightly from the rear when stopped. It is picked up from the fresh air intake. Push the recirc button while stopped when you first notice it.

The EVIC won't normally tell you when the truck's in regen. There IS a message when certain limits are reached in the particulate filter, but 'normal' active regens just happen in the background. Aftermarket OBDII readers like the Edge Insight can tell you if it's happening (if you feel the need to know).

Might want to check your clamps located at the EGR tubing....
