exhaust sound effects

Hey all of you with upgraded exhausts and straight pipes:

How much turbo whistle do you hear through yours? My new one seems to have a lot and I'm wondering how much is normal.

Is factory pipe less the res and muff less the silencer ring and I get a lot of turbo whistle in cab and you can hear it through the right wheel well but not near enough whistle out the tail pipe that is what I am looking for!

Mine whistles noticeably through the exhaust (straight piped) but I don't notice much from up front. Sounds good when accelerating and decelerating. Still have the stock, non-swiss-cheesed air box with a K&N. BHAF coming soon.

With the BHAF, and Rip Rook 4" exhaust, I can really hear the turbo. But, at idle I can’t really hear the turbo out the exhaust. I have heard a 3" straight pipe, and 3 1/2 Banks with a restrictive muffler that have much more whistle at idle. As soon as I step on the go pedal, or when decelerating, the sound is quite noticeable.
