Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Exhaust Sounds

I have a 4" turbo to tail exhaust system, would adding a 5" exhaust tip change the sound any?

IMO, no. Most of the 5" and other tips are ~10-12 inches long. If you weld it right up against the last part of the 4", i. e. , very little 4" inside the 5", you might notice a little "fuller" note.



I have a custom made 41/2, 30degree slash cut, 16" long tip welded right at the end of the 4"..... no 4" inside the tip... . and it didn't change the note at all.
