Exhaust system, Tires, Shocks...sigh...$$$$

We use salt on the roads here, so the BD aluminized exhaust system kind of ... died. It made it 7 years. First the tailpipe came off at the muffler, and then the muffler came off. So, with about four feet of 4" exhaust left, the truck may be considered offensive to some listeners:-laf Oh, and it won't pass the past due inspection.



I'm looking to put a Stainless Steel system on. I saw the one at Geno's Garage, made by ANSA. I remember ANSA from my autocross days, (whoa! 28 years ago! :{ ) Cripes... anyhow, any thing I should know about this system? Is ANSA still a 'go to' company? Any reccomendations or tips?



I also have to do tires, shocks, steering damper. I'm thinking of going again with 265's BFG, because they are lower than my 285's and as high as my truck (stock) sits, I think it is going to make things easier, as we intend to get a goosneck 3 horse trailer, some year.



The shocks and damper I am thinking of the Bilsteins. Any help there would be great as well.



$$$ this is going to wipe us out for quite some time! I soooo, want out of Maine!

I had the same problem with a Banks exhaust, it is 409 ss.
After 4 years it had a 1/4 hole in it. The only exhaust
that wont rust will be a 300 series ss exhaust. We use a
lot of salt in NY also. 400 series rust 300 series does not.
