How do we "wrap the exhaust pipe in the area of the FRONT O2 sensor."?

Not any more.It has been updated to a weld on shield like the later trucks have

You can go to any speed shop and buy header wrap if that is your goal.

So can the weld on shield be purchased or mounted by the dealer? I ask these questions because I've already had to have two O2 sensors changed at only 36K miles.

Yes there is a refrence to it in tsb 25 000 13 rev a.
If you have the new style 02 sensors they can be cleaned with compressed air

Yes the new style heat sheild can be purchased at any dealer.Not very many dealers have welders anymore,but any exhaust shop should be able to weld it on.
