Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) exhaust

looking at 2008 1 ton 6. 7 scares me im use to 5. 9 how hard is it to remove that exhaust it looks like a nightmare do you really need all those chambers it looks really restrictive nobody around here seems to know anything about a kit to fool engine so light wont come on what is best programmer best cold air for this engine any problems to look for any help would sure be appreciated

i thoght i was dont you just go to 3rd generation

You can remove the regen system and install a Smarty with the correct software for no codes.
