WHAT ABOUT NO RESINATOR OR EXHAUST. WILL THIS HURT THE TRUCK IN ANY WAY?GENOS GARAGE SELLS A PIPE TO ELIMINATE THE MUFFLER. HAS ANY ONE DONE THIS? IF SO HOW DOES THE TRUCK SOUND.
Lots of guys have removed the resonator and muffler. They have run that way with no problems at all.
It is loud... and will turn heads. Personally, its too loud for me so I have a muffler. I want my horses to be able to hear me the next day when I say Whoa!
its a resonator... it is put on the truck to meet federal noise emissions standards in all 50 states. it is to be considered a pre-muffler if you will, or a "after" in some cars and trucks.
