I recently mounted a set of Cepek 275/85R-16 Fun Country Radials on my truck. For about the first 500 miles they road great, no complaints or problems. Shortly after that the tires would shake the truck violently above 35 mph. I figured I may have slung a some weight and went back to rebalance them where I had them mounted. Found a huge 1" tall by 6" diameter buldge in the passenger front tire tread and another about half that in the driver's side tire. I ran 47 psi (50psi is max), tires were load range C and rated for 2650 lbs. @ 50 psi max. Is my truck to heavy for this tire????? I have been using it for normal driving. I contacted Mickey Thompson and they told me that they purchased only the name line & now make the tire themselves and that Cepek went bankrupt due to these tires & sent me the contact info. for the legal team representing them. I had to replace both tires with new ones; fortunately I had 3 spares. Down to the last one. I figure I am probably screwed on this deal. Anyone else have any experiences with Cepek tires????
