Thanks for the comments. Yes, I was aware of the end date when I signed. I never considered that I might not drive the miles necessary to use all the coupons.
I just discovered that most "prepaid coupons" are considered in the same category as prepaid gift cards/certificates. With very few exceptions Federal Law (8/22/10) and CA Law prohibit expiration dates. As a matter of fact these items cannot be sold with an expiration date on them. Apparently the basis for these laws was to protect the buyer from a seller "windfall" by missing an arbitrary expiration date. The buyer paid, the seller received and used the money... why should the buyer loose simply because of a date? Clearly I am NOT an attorney and am stating what I have found on the internet!
The purpose of this thread was to see if anyone actually was able to use the expired coupons. JHaws, I think you are ok since this is a gift offer (they did not prepay anything for the 3rd free night). Same thing as $1. 00 off a jar of mayonnaise coupon.
I have not talked to the dealer yet as I purchased the truck and coupon book in another state prior to the Federal law.
