Extended Crank

I am experiencing extended crank time. Engine spins for 5 to 8 seconds before it starts.(Hot or Cold) Shop checked all fittings for sucking air. Has Air Dog fuel pump/filter.

128,000 original miles.

Any ideas ?

Yeah need to monitor the high pressure side . Not enough pressure wont start

Do HPRVs have a typical service life? I have 230K on my engine. Rail pressure at idle is approx. 5Kpsi.
