Is anyone using mirror extentions (that work) on a Toybox hauler or wide 5er? I bought an extention from wally world and still can't see the rear tires or around the camper box.

I can't fork out the big bucks for powered replacements but I don't like not being able to keep an eye on things either.

I tried 2 types of those clip on junkers

check out McKesh Mirrors I bought them, love them, recomended them to friends who also love them. You can set them so wide you can't fit through toll booths!

Now my new truck has those new towing mirrors, so I may have a set for sale, but first I have to install then on the new truck to compair them to the new factory mirrors.

Towpro,

Let me know if you will be selling the McKesh mirrors. I had the X-mounts and sent them back because they vibrate way too much for mirrors that cost as much as they did.

I had a set of McKesh that I used on my old Ram. My current truck has the trailer tow mirrors. The McKesh just did not fit well, too much mirror perhaps. I sold my McKesh to a TDR member, geeze I really miss those mirrors. They were excellent and I highly recommend them. My next truck will have regular mirrors and I will purchase another set of McKesh for towing.

I just backed up to the 5er tonight, flipped out the towing mirror and was amazed, I don't think I will need the McKesh's anymore.

tomorrow I will pull them out of the trailer and see how they compare to the new towing mirrors. I will let you know tomorrow (sat, if it stops raining). I can shoot pictures of them for you as well.
