I've hunted and hunted but can't find any pictures comparing an extended tip compressor vs. a regular compressor wheel. This might not be the place for the thread, but I couldn't find another place for it. Everyone talks about the advantages of extended tips, but I can't find out what they are. Can anyone explain form and function to me and why it's so much more efficient? Reading all the marketing material makes me beleive that nobody should spec a regular compressor for an upgrade. Thanks in advance for pointing me in the right direction for more material. Maybe this is a topic for the next TDR issue??
