WARNING!!!! WARNING!!!! WARNING!!!! WARNING!!!! WARNING!!!!
If you have a extended warranty contract with auto warranty agency, beware they have written the contracts in such a way that no claim will be honored. They will manipulate a claim in any way possible to avoid paying the claim, These people are totally unethical, so if you feel that you need an extended warranty go someplace else, better yet take your money to the middle of a street and throw it up in the air and walk away.

Totally agree... IF one is going to buy an extended warranty for a vehicle, it is best to ONLY buy the longest one available with the most parts covered that is offered by the FACTORY and no one else.

That being said, it is usually NOT advisable to buy any extended warranty unless there are already known problems with parts on the vehicle.

For example, I did buy one from Chrysler for my truck, and it has more then paid for itself with wheel bearing, ball joint, driveshaft and steering parts replacement...†he steering upgrade alone was $1200 worth of parts (of course at full retial). I was aware of these weknesses when I bought the truck, so I also bought the warrnty. Also bought one for my wifes Jetta TDi because of the complexity and cost of the transmission and known potential failures of the HP fuel pump system....that together are $17000 worth parts and labor if they go south, and it is known to happen, so the $1800 for the 7 year 100k warranty is an acceptable investment IMO. iIf it was not for those two parts/systems on the TDi, and htere known failure points, I would have passed. Just my .02

When I say they try anything to avoid paying I mean just that.

The first claim I had was the engine had no oil pressure, The dealer said it was the main bearings, a Cummins with 123,000 miles. They denied paying because they said the injectors were leaking, I don't think so because:
1.It never smoked.
2. The oil level never went up between oil changes.
3. The truck pulled just fine, no misses or hesitation.
So that was $16,000 out of pocket.

This time the A/C quit working dealer said bad compressor, denied again because the seal on the compressor was bad and seals are not covered.
At least this time it was only $350.00 out of pocket.

In my opinion this company is nothing more than a crook with a web site and a group of agencies.

Beware of: The TechChoice vehicle Service Contracts, sold through The Auto Warranty Agency in Maryland.

So why don't you have any attorney looking at this with that amount of money on the table? BTW did the dealer install new injectors with the engine and any UOA reports available?
