Extended Warranty Contracts

Getting ready to sign off on a new 2018 and the dealer is offering an extended warranty by Fidelity which he says is the greatest thing since sliced bread. Seriously, the price is right , it is transferable and the deal is a lot cheaper if you buy at purchase time rather than when the factory warranty expires.
They would not discount the factory warranty and it could only go up to eight years, the Fidelity goes to ten.
Asking if anyone has any real experience with this company. I noticed that one of the Turbo Diesel writers bought an extended warranty and indicated that the electronics was the reason which is understandable. Thanks in advance for any responses.

The ONLY extended warranty you should consider is the Chrysler one sold in various configurations.

You can add up to your 3/36 expiration.

To do it again I don't think I would spend the money! I have the 7 year ZERO deductible 100K warranty.

Your drivetrain is already covered for 5/100.
